Days 1 - 3

HANOI

We begin our adventure in Hanoi, Vietnam’s captivating capital, where ancient history and dynamic street life blend seamlessly. This city pulses with energy—motorbikes buzz past colonial mansions, incense wafts from centuries-old pagodas, and locals gather for egg coffee at street corner cafés. It's a city of contrasts and character, where every alley holds a story.

  •  Gather with your fellow travelers for a warm welcome dinner in the heart of Hanoi’s historic Old Quarter. Savor authentic northern Vietnamese dishes as we toast to the journey ahead and begin forming new friendships.

  • Step into Vietnam’s rich history as we visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, stroll through the Presidential Palace grounds, and marvel at the One Pillar Pagoda—a unique wooden temple rising from a lotus pond.

  •  Wander through Hanoi’s labyrinth of streets where local life unfolds—vendors selling herbs, temples tucked between cafes, and scooters zipping past French balconies. We’ll pause for a coffee stop at the iconic Train Street, where trains pass just inches from local homes.

  •  Experience Hanoi like a local from the seat of a vintage military Jeep. We’ll cruise through lesser-known neighborhoods, lakeside boulevards, and vibrant markets, ending with a delicious dinner at a hidden local gem.

Days 4-5

HA LONG BAY

Next, we journey to Ha Long Bay—a surreal seascape of emerald waters and towering limestone islands. Aboard a luxury overnight cruise, we sail through this UNESCO World Heritage Site, soaking up natural beauty and serenity at every turn.

  •  Paddle through tranquil lagoons beneath limestone cliffs and explore hidden caves only accessible by water. Keep an eye out for monkeys in the trees and jellyfish drifting beneath your kayak.

  •  Learn how to prepare classic Vietnamese dishes from the onboard chef, then enjoy a multi-course dinner featuring fresh-caught seafood. Dietary preferences are happily accommodated.

  •  Toast the golden hour with cocktails on the sundeck, then settle in for a festive evening of stargazing, laughter, and indulgent cuisine—all while gently floating in one of the most breathtaking places on Earth.

Days 6-7

HOI AN

We continue to Hoi An, a riverside town that feels like a living postcard. Lanterns sway in the breeze, bicycles glide past mustard-yellow facades, and ancient traditions meet modern creativity. It’s a place to slow down, connect, and be charmed.

Excursions & Experiences Included:

  • Start your day with a stroll through a colorful local market. Chat with vendors, sample exotic produce, and gain a deeper understanding of Vietnamese ingredients and daily life.

  •  We’ll head to the countryside for a day on a local farm. Join your hosts in planting herbs, making traditional rice paper by hand, and preparing a home-cooked Vietnamese meal from scratch—then enjoy your creations together.

  • Climb into a traditional round bamboo boat for a playful spin through the coconut palm–lined waterways. This joyful ride always ends in a spontaneous dance party on the water, complete with drumming and big belly laughs.

HO CHI MINH CITY

Days 8-10

We end in Ho Chi Minh City (also known as Saigon), a vibrant metropolis that pulses with energy, ambition, and deeply rooted history. Skyscrapers rise beside French colonial buildings, and the smell of pho fills the air. It’s a city of stories and contrasts, and the perfect place to reflect on our journey.

  • Explore key landmarks that trace Vietnam’s journey through colonialism, war, and reunification. We’ll visit the Reunification Palace, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the grand Central Post Office.

  • Venture into the countryside to explore the famous Cu Chi Tunnels. Learn how the Viet Cong used this vast underground network during wartime—and experience the ingenuity, hardship, and resilience firsthand.

  •  Sit down for a traditional lunch inside a local home. This heartfelt exchange offers a window into everyday life and is often one of the most memorable moments of the trip.

  •  We gather one last time to toast to a journey well-traveled. Share laughter, stories, and delicious bites as we say goodbye—for now—with hearts full and friendships forged.
