SETTLING INTO LUCCA

Days 1 - 2

We begin in the Tuscan countryside near Lucca, easing into the rhythm of villa life. These first days are intentionally gentle—focused on arrival, grounding, and getting to know one another over shared meals, simple movement, and time in Lucca’s historic center.

  • Our first evening sets the tone: laughter, wine, and a multi-course welcome dinner lovingly prepared by our private chef. We'll dine al fresco under the Tuscan sky, sharing stories and toasting to the week ahead.

  • Start Day 2 with gentle yoga, followed by a chef-prepared breakfast back at the villa.

  • Spend time wandering Lucca’s shops, climbing or admiring its towers, and lingering in the piazzas—perfect for people-watching, photos, and unhurried exploring.

  • Return to the villa for dinner, then gather for a guided journaling circle—space to reflect, set intentions, and arrive fully, together.

PISA, VINEYARDS & THE TUSCAN TABLE

Days 3- 6

These days take us beyond the villa and into the creative and agricultural heart of Tuscany. Expect a blend of small-town wandering, hands-on culture, and meals that stretch comfortably into the afternoon. Deepen your connection to the land through food, wine, and seasonal traditions. Experiences are immersive but unhurried, with time to savor both flavor and conversation.

  • We explore Pisa including the tower and Piazza dei Miracoli. We'll take in the architectural splendor, absorb the marble brilliance, and enjoy an iconic moment together.

  • Travel to Pietrasanta, a town long shaped by sculptors and artists. Stroll open piazzas and artisan studios before sitting down for lunch in town, where art and daily life meet naturally.

  • Spend time at a working Tuscan vineyard, learning about local wine traditions through a guided tasting and conversation with those who know the land best.

  • A local artisan leads a hands-on creative session (paper marbling, leather, ceramics, or perfume). We end with a light villa dinner.

  • We roll pasta, simmer sauces, and prepare a beautiful lunch with our chef — filled with laughter, flour-dusted hands, and delicious aromas.

  • Take part in a truffle-centered experience, followed by a truffle-themed lunch highlighting one of Tuscany’s most prized seasonal ingredients.

Day 7

One final day in the serene Tuscan countryside. We take the time to ground ourselves, explore a quieter side of Italy in the Garfagnana hill towns, and celebrate the connections we’ve formed thus far.

  • We wander medieval lanes, sip cappuccinos, take in dramatic landscapes, and enjoy the serenity of a lesser-known Tuscany.

  • Back at the villa, we enjoy a multi-course wine-paired dinner with live music — joyful, intimate, unforgettable.

Days 8 - 11

FLORENCE & FAREWELL

Our final days offer a gentle closing—time to reflect, celebrate, and savor Florence at an easy pace. Florence is a city best discovered slowly — through its cafés, artisans, gardens, and hidden corners. Today invites you to savor it your way with structure, clarity, and ease

  • Thermal pools, steam rooms, saunas, waterfalls, and time to float, rest, and restore.

  • We check into our boutique hotel and enjoy a relaxed dinner in the Renaissance city.

  • Our day begins with a guided tour of Florence’s artistic icons. Marvel at Michelangelo’s David, stroll through the Uffizi Gallery, and walk the storied streets that shaped the Renaissance.

  • Shop for exquisite gold along the historic Ponte Vecchio, then wander through the vibrant Porcellino Market—famous for leather goods, silks, and lucky traditions.

  • Wrap up the day with a lively dinner at Florence’s Mercato Centrale—a food lover’s haven where you can savor Tuscan specialties in a casual, bustling setting.

  • U.S. citizens do not need a visa for stays under 90 days. Just ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date.

  •  Fly into either Florence (FLR) or Pisa (PSA). Transportation from either is included on arrival and departure days.

  • All meals during group activities, private chef dinners, tastings, and curated lunches are included. Meals during free time and personal snacks are not.

  • Absolutely. Let us know and we can offer suggestions for extending your trip before or after the retreat.
