Our journey begins with a warm welcome in the festive streets of Heidelberg. After arriving in Frankfurt and transferring to our boutique hotel, we explore this beloved city by foot and funicular, soaking up its seasonal spirit and romantic charm.

This trip takes place during winter, so cold temperatures and snowy conditions are expected. Warm layers and waterproof shoes are essential. (Think like: hats, scarfs, gloves/mittens, hand warmers, and definitely a good jacket)
Many of the towns we visit have cobblestone streets and hills, so a moderate level of mobility is required.
You should be comfortable walking 2–3 miles per day and standing for guided tours.
We recommend bringing a collapsible shopping bag, a travel mug for warm drinks, and hand warmers for added comfort.
